Angela Ricketts

Author and Entrepreneur.

Angela Ricketts is the author of Never Lose Sight, founder of Better Life Home Cleaning, and creator of Sight Stones, handmade clay stones created to raise awareness and funds for retinal disease research. Her work draws on seventeen years of entrepreneurship, her experience parenting a son with choroideremia, and her journey through the deaths of her grandmother and father. After her son Kai’s diagnosis, she and her husband, Matt, became involved in vision research advocacy and hosted trivia events that raised more than $75,000 for the Choroideremia Research Foundation. She has also facilitated a GriefShare group, bringing firsthand understanding of loss and the importance of community to her work. A potter’s daughter who grew up selling worry stones at art shows, Ricketts returned to clay as a way to reconnect with her father’s lessons and find purpose alongside grief.
