Nicole McMackin is CEO of Irvine Technology Corporation and host of the Elevate Your Career podcast, where she explores how professionals turn intentional choices into meaningful advancement. Her work connects technology talent with organizations and brings practical leadership lessons to people navigating their next career step. Through working closely with CIOs, CISOs, CEOs, and boards, and mentoring high-performing professionals, particularly women, she has observed the gap between capability and access to sponsorship, visibility, and opportunity. That experience led to the creation of ITC’s Women in Leadership and Emerging Leaders programs, structured career-acceleration platforms led by executives. In Elevate Your Career, she draws on these experiences and conversations with leaders to examine authenticity, self-advocacy, curiosity, and the willingness to act before confidence arrives. Her earliest leadership lessons came from working alongside her mother and grandmother at her family’s private school, where she observed the importance of trust, work ethic, and communication.
