Douglas J. Cumming (born 1970) is a Canadian financial economist. He is a Professor of Finance at Stevens Institute of Technology in the United States and holds the Steven Shulman '62 Endowed Chair for Business Leadership.
Cumming is also an author; his publications include the 2009 book Venture Capital and Private Equity Contracting. He is known for his work in financial economics and for his role at Stevens Institute of Technology.
