The Deficit Myth
The Deficit Myth explains modern monetary theory (MMT) as a new way to understand money, taxes, and deficit spending. It challenges common deficit myths—such as that governments should budget like households or that deficits inevitably harm future generations—and reframes fiscal choices in terms of broader economic and social benefits.
